The Motorola DROID BIONIC is shortly to receive a massive update that improves some of the problems that owners of the phone have been complaining about. Besides killing off the usual assortment of bugs, the update increases to 8 the number of devices supported by Mobile Hotspot, improves the stability of the 3G and 4G data connection, repairs media playback through Bluetooth and improves stability to avoid power cycles for the smartphone.
This update might have to do with the project that certain owners of the device were asked to get involved in last month by Motorola. The manufacturer often asks for willing participants to conduct a soak test before disseminating an update to all users of a specific model. While the update is imminent, don't jump off a roof if you don't have it yet. Not everyone will receive it at once as the OTA update gets rolled out in waves.
