According to HTC employee Melvin Chua who spoke in Singapore during the launch of Windows Phone in that country, he noted that Windows currently makes up 30% of HTC’s overall sales.
Numbers aside, Chua spoke very highly of the Windows Phone operating system on behalf of HTC. He said that HTC believes Windows Phone will eventually be a lot better than other mobile operating systems and will even give Google’s Android platform a run for its money.
Considering that Windows Phone already accounts for 30% of HTC’s sales merely a year after Microsoft launched their fully revamped operating system, it should be no surprise that they expect those numbers to improve greatly. With the launch of high-end devices such as the HTC Titan in the near future expectations are high. What are your expectations for Windows Phone devices from HTC in the future?
